The 3rd Workshop of the 12th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Information Technologies in Energy and Agro-industrial Complex” (ITEA-2023) was held on October 4–6, 2023, in Dubliany, Ukraine (in both online and offline formats).
The purpose of the ITEA-2023 workshop was to discuss trends in the development and application of modern information technologies in energy and agriculture, share experiences in implementing innovations that enhance resource and energy efficiency, promote the use of renewable energy sources, manage projects, and assess technologies and equipment from environmental, economic, and energy perspectives. The workshop also addressed the design of computer, energy, and technical systems across various industries.
The aim of the ITEA-2023 workshop was to create a fundamental international platform for presenting research findings and discussing strategies, current trends, and innovative tools. It fostered discussions on the latest advancements in information technologies related to energy and the agro-industrial complex, involving the world’s best practices.
Additionally, the seminar supported the development of research in information technologies by facilitating the exchange of innovative ideas among scientific community members, offering opportunities for generating ideas and creative solutions to the challenges of digital transformation in energy and agriculture.
The workshop brought together scientists, entrepreneurs, and representatives of public organizations. Both applied and theoretical works aimed at further integrating information technologies into the agro-industrial and energy sectors were considered. Among the presented topics was “Modeling and Design of Modern Information Systems.”
A total of 37 papers were submitted to the conference. The Organizing Committee initially selected 22 for presentation and discussion during the ITEA-2023 workshop. Following academic integrity checks and peer review, 9 papers were selected for publication.
We expect that this seminar will contribute to the advancement of information technologies and the digital transformation of the energy and agro-industrial sectors, while also strengthening ties between the scientific community and relevant industries.
